Often, Campus Archaeology requires a field crew. Occasionally, this means that we must recruit individuals to work in the field. Sometimes these people are paid, and sometimes they are not; it depends largely on our budget. The amount of help we need is dependent on the types of projects that we are participating in, so applying to be a member of the CAP Dig Team does not guarantee that you will be selected. Although our program places an emphasis on education, it is still critical that our projects get completed in a timely and effective manner, so experience is necessary.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the CAP Dig Team, and are currently an MSU graduate or undergraduate student, and have participated in an archaeological field school, please send us a resume or CV specifying your qualifications and job reference.
